Mission Valley Preparatory Academy (MVP) at St. Timothy’s Lutheran School is a specialized and highly intensive program for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences affecting literacy grades JK – 5.

The MVP Program is exclusively offered at St. Timothy’s Lutheran School. MVP program staff use an Orton-Gillingham instructional approach that is explicit, systematic, and multi-sensory. All instruction is 1:1 and taught with the use of scientifically based education programs such as:

• The Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling and Speech Program (LiPS®)
• The Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® Program (V/V®)
• PACE —Processing and Cognitive Enhancement
• Wilson Reading System®
• The Barton Reading & Spelling System®
